Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Developer to drive the creation of innovative and on-trend cosmetics from concept to shelf. This role will partner cross-functionally with design, marketing, operations, and suppliers to bring our product pipeline to life, ensuring every launch meets brand standards of quality, creativity, and speed to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify upcoming beauty trends, competitive launches, and consumer insights to fuel product innovation.
- Own full product lifecycle: ideation, benchmarking, briefing, sampling, testing, and launch readiness.
- Develop product briefs with clear specs, formulas, shade ranges, claims, packaging, cost targets, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, labs, and packaging suppliers to source innovative formulas and components while maintaining cost and margin goals.
- Manage sampling process, ensuring formulas meet performance, texture, shade, and stability standards.
- Partner with design team on packaging artwork, ensuring brand identity, storytelling, and compliance.
- Track development timelines and proactively communicate status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing to build strong product storytelling for launches.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in product development in cosmetics, skincare, or beauty accessories.
- Strong understanding of formulation, packaging, and product development timelines.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with an eye for trends, color, and design.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for beauty, inclusivity, and delivering innovation at accessible price points.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
