The Role
We are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to join our four-person technical team. This is a hands-on, field-involved position based in Reno. You will be working directly alongside our Senior and Systems Engineers on client environments from day one.
We will teach you our stack, our standards, and our processes. What we can't teach is curiosity, drive, and the ability to think through a problem. That must come from you.
What You'll Do
- Support and troubleshoot client environments across networking, security, authentication, and Microsoft 365
- Work tickets from Tier 1 through Tier 2 and grow from there
- Assist with project deployments and client site visits
- Document client environments and contribute to our knowledge base
What We're Looking For
- Background in Computer Science, IT, or a related field — degree in progress or completed
- Programming or scripting experience is a genuine bonus (Python, PowerShell, anything that shows you think like a developer)
- Foundational understanding of networking, security, and authentication concepts
- Someone who has broken and fixed their own stuff — homelab experience, personal projects, GitHub presence all count
- Coachable, reliable, and good in a team — we are a small shop and culture matters
- Must be local and available for on-site client work

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
