Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Parts Store Manager to oversee all daily operations of one of our busy retail location in the East Bay area. This leadership role involves managing staff, driving sales growth, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of automotive parts and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate store personnel, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management, to build a team that delivers exceptional service and achieves business results.
- Inventory & Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of store inventory control, including new stock, receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, conducting physical inventories, and managing the return of damaged or incorrect parts.
- Sales & Profitability: Execute sales plans and promotions to achieve monthly and annual sales targets and maximize profitability while controlling expenses.
- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and providing technical support and product knowledge.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with all company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, including health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated leadership experience in an automotive retail/sales environment is required.
- Education: High school diploma
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and standard computer applications.
- Deep knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and industry trends.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Requirements: Must possess a current, valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR).
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
