Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our guests receive the highest quality dining experience.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee the use of POS systems such as Brink POS.
- Assist with cooking and food production as needed while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in all food handling processes.
- Provide leadership during shifts, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Participate in budgeting processes and assist with financial reporting as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including food handling and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures.
- Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in hospitality management or restaurant management is preferred.
