Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Equipment Detailer to join our truck shop team. This position is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and detailing large oilfield, fracking, and industrial equipment to ensure each unit is clean, polished, and customer-ready.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working around large equipment, and has experience with pressure washing, heavy equipment cleaning, truck detailing, or paint touch-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove label tape, part-number tags, paint-pin labels, and other temporary markings from hoses, cables, and equipment components.
- Pressure wash large oilfield and industrial equipment to remove dirt, grease, oil, and debris.
- Dry equipment using compressed air and air hoses.
- Wipe down areas requiring additional cleaning or attention.
- Clean and polish caps, wheels, and other equipment components.
- Apply tire shine and ensure equipment has a clean, finished appearance.
- Inspect completed equipment and identify areas requiring additional cleaning or paint touch-up.
- Perform minor paint touch-ups using a paint gun.
- Keep the wash bay, tools, hoses, and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Safely work around heavy equipment, high-pressure water, compressed air, cleaning chemicals, and paint.
- Assist the truck shop team with general equipment preparation and cleaning as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
Preferred experience includes:
- Industrial equipment detailing
- Heavy equipment cleaning
- Truck or automotive detailing
- Pressure washing
- Oilfield equipment cleaning or maintenance
- Industrial equipment preparation
- Paint preparation or paint-gun experience
Additional qualifications:
- Experience using a pressure washer and compressed air preferred.
- Paint gun experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely work around water, dirt, grease, oil, paint, and cleaning chemicals.
- Previous oilfield, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or truck shop experience is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on, physical position working in an industrial truck shop and wash bay. The position involves working around large oilfield and fracking equipment and may include exposure to water, dirt, grease, oil, cleaning chemicals, paint, noise, and varying temperatures.
Safety is a priority, and all employees are expected to follow company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.

Experience detailing trucks, washing heavy equipment, pressure washing, or performing paint touch-ups is highly valued.
