Position Summary
Mad Engine is seeking a hands-on Amazon FBA Channel Manager to own the execution and performance of our Amazon third-party Seller Central/FBA business. This individual contributor will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving profitability, optimizing catalog performance, and maintaining strong inventory and account health.
The ideal candidate is an analytical, execution-focused Amazon operator who is comfortable working directly in Seller Central. This role partners closely with Marketplace Content, Merchandising, Finance, Data, Operations, Replenishment, Creative, and Retail Media to support the broader e-commerce strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Own the day-to-day management and optimization of the Amazon Seller Central/FBA business.

Drive revenue growth and conversion through ASIN-level analysis, keyword strategy, listing optimization, pricing, promotions, and catalog improvements.

Use Seller Central, Helium 10, and internal reporting tools to identify growth opportunities, competitive trends, content gaps, and performance issues.

Set listing-optimization priorities and partner with the Marketplace Content Lead, Merchandising, and Creative teams on titles, bullets, images, A+ Content, keywords, and variation structures.

Execute Seller Central actions, including listing updates, pricing changes, catalog troubleshooting, suppression resolution, variation maintenance, and issue escalation.

Manage Amazon execution for product launches, assortment changes, product transitions, and discontinuations.

Monitor channel profitability, including contribution margin, Amazon fees, storage costs, returns, reimbursements, promotions, coupons, and pricing tradeoffs.

Own Amazon forecast inputs and partner with Replenishment and Operations teams on inventory availability, inbound planning, excess inventory, aged inventory, stranded inventory, and sell-through.

Monitor FBA inventory and operational health, including IPI, in-stock rate, receiving issues, account health, listing health, compliance notifications, and product buyability.

Support Prime Day, holiday, and other key Amazon events by coordinating inventory, content, pricing, promotions, and media readiness.

Partner with the Retail Media team to align Amazon Ads support with organic priorities, ASIN readiness, inventory availability, and profitability goals.

Monitor customer-experience signals, including ratings, reviews, returns, and Voice of the Customer, and escalate recurring product, content, or operational issues.

Communicate performance results, risks, priorities, and recommended actions to cross-functional partners and e-commerce leadership.

Stay current on Seller Central changes, FBA requirements, Amazon policies and fees, marketplace trends, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of e-commerce or marketplace experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central/FBA experience.

Proven ability to grow Amazon revenue through listing optimization, keyword strategy, catalog execution, pricing, promotions, and conversion improvement.

Strong knowledge of Seller Central, FBA operations, catalog management, account health, inventory health, pricing, promotions, and channel profitability.

Experience with FBA forecasting, replenishment, inbound planning, in-stock management, excess inventory, and aged inventory.

Experience using Helium 10 or a comparable Amazon research and optimization platform.

Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Seller Central issues and drive cross-functional resolution.

Excellent organization, project-management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing apparel, accessories, licensed products, consumer goods, or other high-SKU-count Amazon catalogs.

Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, A+ Content, variation management, catalog issues, and listing suppressions.

Experience partnering with Amazon Ads or Retail Media teams.
