Seasonal CDL Driver (Class A or B) – Full-Time
Location: O'Connor Quarry
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Seasonal Position: Immediate Opening through November (weather dependent)
O'Connor Quarry is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class A or Class B CDL Driver to join our team for the remainder of the construction season. This is a full-time seasonal position hauling aggregate materials from our quarry to residential customers, construction sites, and commercial job locations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate dump trucks and other assigned vehicles.
- Transport aggregate materials including sand, stone, gravel, topsoil, and other quarry products.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned truck and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and assist in coordinating repairs when needed.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Complete delivery tickets and required paperwork accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and quarry personnel.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Experience hauling aggregate materials is preferred but not required.
