Store Associate
Tyson’s Country Store is hiring a dependable, friendly Store Associate to join our team.
This is a cross-trained position for someone who enjoys staying busy, helping customers, and working in different areas of the store. Team members may work the register, stock and organize merchandise, maintain the sales floor, and prepare fresh biscuits and other food items.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Prepare biscuits and other food items according to store procedures
- Stock coolers, shelves, displays, and other merchandise
- Keep the register area, sales floor, kitchen, and restrooms clean
- Check dates, rotate products, and maintain organized displays
- Follow food-safety, tobacco, alcohol, lottery, and age-verification policies
- Assist coworkers during busy periods
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and shift duties
- Be willing to work in all areas of the store as needed
Qualifications
- Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Friendly, respectful, and comfortable working with the public
- Willing to learn register, food-service, and stocking responsibilities
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to bend, reach, and lift merchandise as needed
- Previous retail, cashier, restaurant, or food-service experience is helpful but not required
Schedule
Applicants must have reliable transportation and dependable availability. Weekend, early-morning, evening, and holiday availability may be required based on store needs.
