Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during your shift, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency, quality, and safety standards in line with health regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation
- Control inventory levels by monitoring stock supplies, conducting food management tasks, and assisting with ordering to minimize waste
- Train new team members on food handling procedures, customer service protocols, and operational standards to foster a skilled workforce
- Ensure adherence to food safety practices and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest experience
- Support management with shift planning, budgeting tasks, and staff scheduling to optimize restaurant performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or supervising roles within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Experience with inventory control, food safety regulations, and food handling procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in staff training, team management, and development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
- Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
