Job duties include:
-Selling pianos and providing excellent customer service including explaining features of acoustic and digital pianos and associated products and services
-Showing customers Farley’s restoration workshop
-Answering the telephone, and communicating with customers via phone, mail or e-mail
-Writing up sales invoices, piano financing contracts, moving forms and maintaining instrument rental accounts
-Updating and maintaining accurate piano inventory monthly and assisting with ordering new products
-Scheduling tuning appointments and other services
-Keeping the showrooms neat including dusting and vacuuming
-Working with other employees on special events including concerts, recitals, etc.
-Effective time management
-Attention to detail
-Good organizational skills
Job requirements:
-A background in music is preferred.
-Must be able to play a piano piece without sheet music
-Must be passionate about pianos
-High School diploma/GED equivalent required
-Vehicle required
-Face-to-face sales experience is not required, but preference will be given to those with piano sales experience
-Computer skills including typing proficiency, the ability to write business letters, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
-Must have weekend availability
-Contributes to strong team work environment whether working individually or in team settings
