Pay Rates:
- Brand Ambassadors: $23/hour
- Event Lead: $30/hour
Schedule: 1-hour setup + 6-hour live activation + 1-hour recovery/closeout
Dress Code: Plain, casual everyday clothing – no branded event attire
Parking: Mall parking anticipated; additional parking details will be provided prior to the event.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking energetic Brand Ambassadors and an experienced Event Lead to support a fun, interactive Golden Banana Scavenger Hunt for a major global brand in the Orlando/Windermere area.
Throughout the activation, Golden Bananas will be hidden across five designated locations surrounding the event area. Brand Ambassadors will rotate between hiding spots, discreetly monitor activity, track when bananas are found, and direct participants back to the main activation area.
The Event Lead will oversee the two Brand Ambassadors, manage inventory and re-seeding, coordinate regular check-ins, and serve as the primary onsite point of contact for the staffing team.
Because the team will be monitoring a scavenger hunt, staff will wear normal everyday clothing and blend in with the general public rather than traditional branded event attire.
Brand Ambassador Responsibilities – $23/hour
- Arrive one hour prior to the activation for setup and briefing
- Assist with placing Golden Bananas at designated hiding locations
- Capture photos of hiding areas as requested for client content
- Rotate between five designated locations throughout the activation
- Discreetly monitor hiding spots without revealing their locations
- Track whether bananas have been found or remain hidden
- Direct participants who successfully find a banana to the main activation area
- Provide regular updates to the Event Lead
- Monitor locations following a second wave/re-seeding of bananas
- Complete a final sweep for any unclaimed bananas
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and event closeout
- Remain active and on your feet throughout the event
Event Lead Responsibilities – $30/hour
- Arrive one hour prior to activation to oversee setup
- Brief and coordinate the two Roving Brand Ambassadors
- Receive and account for the full inventory of 10 Golden Bananas
- Oversee the initial placement of five bananas across five designated locations
- Ensure hiding-spot photos are captured and submitted as required
- Maintain communication between the BA team and onsite client team
- Track remaining bananas and participant redemptions throughout the event
- Handle onsite questions, escalations, and last-minute adjustments
- Ensure the team follows the approved event schedule and check-in process
- Coordinate the second wave/re-seed of five additional bananas during Hour 4
- Oversee the final sweep of all hiding locations
- Reconcile all 10 bananas as placed, collected, or recovered
- Communicate attendance, timecard, and onsite updates to the staffing team
Ideal Brand Ambassador Candidates
- Previous brand ambassador, event, experiential marketing, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, energetic, and comfortable interacting with the public
- Reliable, punctual, and highly communicative
- Comfortable working independently while staying connected with the Event Lead
- Detail-oriented and able to provide accurate updates
- Comfortable walking between multiple nearby locations throughout the day
- Flexible and able to adapt to onsite changes
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented
Ideal Event Lead Candidates
- Previous experience as an Event Lead, Lead Brand Ambassador, Team Lead, or Event Coordinator strongly preferred
- Confident managing a small onsite team
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients and onsite partners
- Able to accurately manage inventory and multiple check-ins
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Calm and professional in a fast-paced live event environment
- Experiential marketing or major brand activation experience is a plus
Event Flow
Pre-Activation: Team briefing, setup, initial banana placement, and hiding-spot photos.
Hours 1–3: BAs rotate between locations, monitor the scavenger hunt, provide updates, and direct successful participants to the main activation.
Hour 4: Event Lead coordinates a second wave of Golden Bananas in new positions within the designated hiding areas.
Hours 5–6: Continued roving coverage, inventory tracking, and participant support.
Post-Activation: Team sweeps all locations for unclaimed bananas, reconciles inventory, and assists with event closeout.
