Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
The lifeguard/swim instructor is responsible for the prevention of accidents as well as the minimization and elimination of hazardous conditions in all Aquatics areas. In addition, the Lifeguard/Swim Instructor will demonstrate competency to teach and lead specific skills and activities in the water.

Must possess CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer Certification

Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.

Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.

Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- 16 years of age or older

Previous guest service experience preferred

CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Flexible availability including days, evening, weekends and summer holidays.
- Must be able to climb stairs and carrying items weighing 25 - 50 pounds.
- Good communication is important, as is being able to follow directions efficiently and meeting the physical demands of the job.
- Must be able to clearly communicate Member needs to other Staff Members.
