What You'll Do
As a Salon Manager, you'll be responsible for creating a positive culture while driving business results. You'll lead by example, coach your team, and ensure every customer leaves feeling confident and appreciated.
Leadership & Team Development
- Coach, mentor, and inspire your team to achieve their full potential.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top talent.
- Train and develop stylists to improve technical skills, customer service, and performance.
- Hold team members accountable while recognizing and celebrating success.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented salon culture.
Business Operations
- Manage salon schedules to maximize customer service and profitability.
- Monitor key performance metrics and create action plans for continuous growth.
- Control payroll, inventory, product ordering, cash handling, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and state board regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service every day.
- Perform quality haircuts while demonstrating Great Clips standards.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Build customer loyalty through outstanding service and consistency.
What We're Looking For
- Current Cosmetology and/or Barber License.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and hold a team accountable.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Positive attitude with a growth mindset.
- Comfortable using technology, scheduling software, and performance reports.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
