Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe patient histories, physical examinations, and other relevant medical information during patient visits.
- Document medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Assist in the management of electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure seamless access to patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance workflow and improve patient care delivery.
- Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and relevant clinical practices.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately capture clinical details.
- Experience working in a medical office setting, including managing medical records is helpful but not required
- Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy during transcriptions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and patients professionally.
