Best Brains Pearland, TX is seeking a coding teacher to teach Scratch, Python, Web development, etc. Teacher needs to be a good communicator, balancing both age-appropriate and industry standard practices. The teacher is responsible for leading classes both in person and, if needed, online, guiding students to read and complete the material, keeping students on task, and assisting with bugs and errors. Should be able to handle file management on both Windows and Mac.
Teacher will use pre-written lessons and adhere to the prescribed software.
Preferred Experience with-
- Scratch, Blockly, Code.Org (uses Blockly), Code::Blocks
- Python, JavaScript (different from Java), Swift
- CSS, HTML, JS/JavaScript, Node.JS, PHP, Ruby
- Java, C, C#, C++, SQL, Python, JavaScript, Swift
Work hours:
Tuesdays 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Thursdays 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
