Part-Time Donation Pickup Assistant & Retail Associate

- Shift Hours: Weekdays start at 9:30 AM (Store open 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Job Description:
The Habitat ReStore is seeking a reliable, high-energy individual to fill a hybrid role as a Donation Pickup Assistant and Retail Sales Associate. On Mondays and Tuesdays, you will hit the road as part of our 2-person truck crew, assisting our primary driver with residential and commercial donation pickups. On Fridays, you will transition to the showroom floor to assist customers, process incoming inventory, and keep the store operating safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and safely transport heavy furniture, appliances, and building materials on donation pickup days (Monday/Tuesday).
- Provide excellent customer service on the retail floor and assist donors dropping off items at the warehouse intake zone (Friday).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized showroom floor and warehouse space.
Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift 50+ lbs consistently for truck donation pickups.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Must pass a standard background check.
