Carolina Interventional Pain Institute is a leading outpatient ambulatory surgery center specializing in ophthalmology and interventional pain management. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment. We are seeking a dedicated LPN Clinical Coordinator to support our clinical team and ensure excellence in patient care.
Position Overview: As the LPN Clinical Coordinator, you will assist in the daily clinical operations of the surgery center, supporting efficient, safe, and high-quality care for our patients. This role involves working closely with the nursing staff, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. As a small ASC, this role includes direct patient care responsibilities under the supervision of an RN.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and coordinate with nursing staff in daily operations and patient care activities

Assist in clinical operations to maintain high standards of patient care

Work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other staff to coordinate patient care

Support compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., AAAHC, DHEC)

Help maintain and implement policies and procedures as directed

Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply management

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Provide direct patient care within LPN scope of practice

Assist in patient education and communication
Qualifications:
-
Current LPN license in SC

Strong organizational and communication skills
-
Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records

Understanding of regulatory requirements in ambulatory surgical settings preferred

Clinical nursing experience as an LPN in ophthalmology, interventional pain, or similar surgical settings preferred
