We are seeking a motivated and energetic Field Supervisor - Landscape Construction to lead our landscape installation and construction teams. This role is vital in overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring high-quality work, safety compliance, and timely project completion. - Supervise landscape construction projects from start to finish, including site preparation, planting, hardscaping, irrigation installation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks to crew members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Oversee the quality of landscaping work, including lawn care, tree care, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Manage equipment usage and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency on-site.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Support team development through training in landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Skills
- Proven experience supervising landscape construction or maintenance teams with a focus on landscaping projects.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and tree care techniques.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse crew effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot construction issues promptly and implement solutions efficiently.
