Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance services and supporting daily express lube operations while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality customer service. This position performs vehicle maintenance services, conducts courtesy inspections, and helps ensure an exceptional customer experience while working under the direction of site leadership.
This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
The following duties are considered essential functions of this position:

Perform preventive maintenance services in accordance with company procedures and applicable manufacturer recommendations

Check, inspect, and replenish vehicle fluids as appropriate

Replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wiper blades, and other designated maintenance items

Conduct courtesy vehicle inspections and accurately communicate findings

Verify completed services prior to vehicle release

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition

Comply with all company safety standards and the Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)

Immediately report hazards, incidents, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

Explain recommended maintenance services and answer customer questions

Review completed services with customers and provide maintenance recommendations based on vehicle condition and company standards

Deliver a positive customer experience that promotes customer satisfaction and repeat business

Previous automotive maintenance or lube experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment

Ability to learn vehicle maintenance procedures and company standards

Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)

Occasionally lift and move items up to 50 pounds

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
