As our Account Manager for Metter Toledo AutoChem, you will sell high-end capital equipment (hardware and software) in the chemical R&D space within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Our reactor platform and PAT (process analytical technology) in combination with software for data management and modeling provides the solution for the challenges our prospects and customer experience on a daily basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions using the AutoChem product line.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with technical teams to conduct demonstrations and feasibility tests.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure excellent service and support.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, provide regular sales forecasts, and report progress.
- Manage a multi-state territory (Northern CA, OR, WA, NV) with frequent travel (50-75%) to customer sites.
- Support sales management with special projects as needed.
