What You'll Do
- Oil and Filter Service: Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and refill engines with the correct type and amount of oil.
- Inspect, top off, or flush fluids including brake, transmission, power steering, and coolant reservoirs.
- Check tire pressure, inflate tires, measure thread depth and perform tire rotations
- Test and replace batteries, change wiper blades and air/cabin filters and complete MPVI
- Inform service advisors or customers of extra maintenance their vehicle needs
- Keep work area clean and follow environmental and safety disposal laws
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
