Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, and working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans that promote meaningful progress in clients’ lives. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions through evidence-based practices and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), to identify target behaviors and underlying functions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) tailored to each client’s needs.
- Collect and analyze data systematically to evaluate client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure fidelity of intervention delivery.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to facilitate consistent implementation of behavior plans across settings such as home, school, or community environments.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and conduct intake assessments for new clients to determine eligibility for services.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Support clients with autism spectrum disorders through behavioral health interventions designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to behavioral psychological assessments, medical terminology, and current best practices in ABA therapy.
- Engage in clinical supervision activities to foster continuous improvement within the team while ensuring high standards of patient care.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analyzing behavioral data for informed decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of special education principles and experience working within educational settings such as schools or classrooms.
- Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, including behavioral intervention strategies and functional assessments.
- Ability to perform comprehensive client assessments and develop effective behavior intervention plans.
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders across various environments including home-based settings.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family education.
- Knowledge of medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and documentation standards in healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision while fostering a positive learning environment for staff members.
- Commitment to ethical practice standards aligned with BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) guidelines.
