American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Brenham, TX, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience performing CT and X-ray procedures.

Imaging/CT department setting in Brenham, TX

Performs both CT and X-ray procedures overnight
-
Schedule is 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
-
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required

Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT (R), ARRT (CT)

Active TX MRT license required (license required if applicable)

Proficiency performing CT and X-ray procedures

2 professional references required for consideration

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Performs CT procedures across a broad patient population including newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients

Responsible for radiation dose monitoring and understanding dose reference levels

Utilizes iSTAT point-of-care testing for obtaining creatinine levels

Maintains accurate imaging records and required documentation in accordance with department standards

Expected to serve as a preceptor, providing training to new team members when needed

Dark gray scrubs required
