Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Mathematics Teacher to inspire and educate students in a vibrant learning environment. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative educational technology and instructional design principles.
- Teach a broad range of mathematical subjects including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and related sciences when applicable.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respects diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating IT-enabled lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Support students’ individual learning needs by adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and special education requirements.
- Mentor students in academic advising sessions and prepare them for college entrance exams or standardized assessments.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through research, attending workshops, and staying current with educational technology trends and scientific research relevant to STEM education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience teaching high school mathematics or middle school mathematics is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of core mathematical concepts including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Differential Equations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience implementing curriculum development strategies and integrating educational technology into lessons.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage students effectively.
- Knowledge of educational compliance standards and experience working within private settings is a plus.
- Skills in proofreading lesson materials and designing assessments aligned with educational regulations are essential.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
