Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate sports training sessions that promote skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Lead children in sports activities such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, and other physical education programs
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules, supervising activities, and maintaining equipment standards
- Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and clear communication to foster a respectful team environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and participation
- Implement first aid procedures when necessary, including AED operation and CPR certification adherence
- Maintain organized records of attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in sports or recreational settings
- Strong knowledge of sports-specific training instruction such as soccer coaching or basketball teaching
- Background in martial arts disciplines like Karate or Judo is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage groups of young athletes
- Excellent communication skills for effective client (parent/guardian) interaction and team coordination
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation are required or highly preferred
- Experience in childcare or physical education teaching enhances your suitability for this role
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to promote positive conduct during activities
- Previous experience in health club or gym environments is a plus but not mandatory
