What You'll Do
As a caregiver, you'll help seniors maintain their independence by providing assistance with daily living activities, including:
- Companionship and conversation
- Transportation and accompaniment to appointments
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Meal preparation
- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance
- Medication reminders
- Toileting assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
What We're Looking For
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient individuals who genuinely enjoy working with seniors
- Professional and respectful when interacting with clients, families, and coworkers
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must be comfortable using a smartphone app to review client care plans
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must comply with all agency policies
Requirements
- Registered as a California Home Care Aide (HCA) or willing to register
- Ability to pass a background check
- Negative TB test
- Must work a minimum of two shifts every 30 days to remain active on the caregiver roster
We are looking for caregivers with flexible availability. Weekend availability is highly preferred.
Overnight shifts are awake shifts. Caregivers must remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift. Sleeping while on duty is not permitted.
