Position: Database Performance Engineer
Location: NYC, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months

Below is exactly what we need for the below role.
They need a person who not a database maintenance guy but a data engineer with deep DB2 and good Snowflake experience. Here is what we are looking for:
- DB2 database expertise and DB2 development experience not a DB2 maintenance person (8+ years)
- Ability to think through issues like a DBA
- Deep experience in SQL performance tuning experience on DB2 (6+ years)
- Understanding, developing and refactoring stored procedures on DB2 to DB2 SQL (6+ years)
- Identifying stored procedures that can be extracted and programmed in Scala or a similar programming language (4+ years)
- Exposure and hands-on understanding of Snowflake warehouses and Snowflake SQL tuning (2+ years)
- Scala development to re-write existing Stored Procedures in Scala (4+ years)
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
