Overview
Class A CDL Driver. In this energetic role, you will operate tractor-trailers across diverse routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Hauling grain and other agricultural related products.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan and follow optimal routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and unload cargo manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo in accordance with safety procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with Class A CDL licenses
- Hands-on experience with flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized freight transportation
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving
- Delivery driver experience demonstrating reliability in route driving and customer service excellence
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
