About the Role
As a Cold Heading Machine Technician, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing department by operating multi-station equipment to produce high-quality fasteners. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance, maintaining strict quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production output.
Responsibilities-
Manage the operation of multi-station cold heading machinery, including Sacma and National platforms, to meet daily production targets.

Execute precise quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other gauging tools to verify component specifications.

Perform routine material loading, minor mechanical adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate production logs and proactively report equipment performance or quality deviations to the technical team.

Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization to ensure a productive environment.

Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and improve manufacturing consistency.
Qualifications-
Proven experience operating industrial cold heading equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic machine malfunctions.

Proficiency in reading technical work instructions and utilizing precision measuring instruments.

Physical capability to handle materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds.

Demonstrated expertise in performing full machine setups and complex changeovers on multi-die headers.

In-depth knowledge of fastener manufacturing methodologies and industry-standard quality protocols.

Prior experience working with Sacma or National cold heading systems.
