ANCHOR HOME CARE LLC is a home care agency seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Agency Administrator to lead our local administrative operations in Nevada. During our initial state licensing phase, this role offers an exceptional level of schedule flexibility, requiring minimal on-site office hours and a primary focus on regulatory readiness.
The ideal candidate will serve as our local administrator of record, ensuring our office operations align perfectly with Department of Health regulations. The pivotal focus of this initial phase is preparing for, attending, and successfully leading our agency through the mandatory on-site state licensing survey conducted by the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ).
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Representation: Serve as the designated local Agency Administrator on official Maryland state licensing documentation.
Survey Preparation & Leadership: Partner with corporate leadership to ensure the physical office, administrative folders, and policy manuals are fully prepared for state review. Physically attend, host, and lead the mandatory on-site OHCQ initial licensing audit at our Baltimore office.
Office Oversight: Manage minimal on-site administrative tasks during the pre-licensing phase, including maintaining compliant personnel files, managing secure documentation, and setting up basic office infrastructure.
Compliance Alignment: Ensure all administrative procedures, blank client forms, and operational protocols align strictly with COMAR 10.07.05 regulations.
Communication Hub: Act as the local point of contact for state regulators, answering basic administrative inquiries and coordinating correspondence with our out-of-state corporate office.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working within a private duty, home care, or health-related business setting.
Management History: At least 1 year of experience serving in an administrative, supervisory, or managerial role within a home care or healthcare office environment (satisfying COMAR general health-related field requirements).
Location/Commute: Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of our physical office in Reno, NV 89501. While the daily schedule is highly flexible and hybrid, 100% out-of-state or fully remote candidates who cannot physically commute to the office for state audits will not be considered.
Licensing: An active nursing (RN) license is NOT required for this position. This is an operational, administrative, and compliance-focused role.
