Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload materials using equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and order picking techniques to meet shipping deadlines.
- Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts and proper documentation to ensure precise warehouse records.
- Operate heavy equipment responsibly, including forklifts and crane systems, following all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Handle manual materials movement and perform heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with safety guidelines to promote efficient warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles.
- Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and load & unload machinery safely.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanner technology.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Prior experience with warehouse supervisor responsibilities or overseeing warehouse operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and adherence to safety protocol guidelines at all times.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and load management.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
