Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to ensure they are spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully stocked
- Assist with light custodial tasks like window cleaning and trash removal to keep environments pristine
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly
- Support with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when needed
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any irregularities or damages observed during shifts
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily duties within scheduled hours
- Willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided
- Basic understanding of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is desirable
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to contribute to a clean environment
