We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Trademark Attorney to join our innovative legal team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive trademark searches using LexisNexis and Westlaw to assess potential conflicts and advise on registration strategies
- Prepare, file, and prosecute trademark applications with relevant authorities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Draft detailed legal documents including trademark applications, responses to office actions, and licensing agreements with precision and clarity
- Monitor and enforce trademark rights through diligent surveillance, enforcement actions, and litigation support when necessary
- Provide expert legal advice on trademark infringement issues, including negotiation of settlements and licensing agreements
- Maintain meticulous records of all trademark portfolio activities within the law office management system
- Conduct legal research on emerging trends in intellectual property law, including tribal law & regulations and international trademark issues
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with admission to the state bar
- Proven experience in trademark law, including patent law knowledge is a plus
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools
- Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity and precision in legal drafting
- Familiarity with litigation processes related to intellectual property disputes
- Experience in legal administrative tasks such as docketing, record keeping, and case management
- Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations is advantageous but not required

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
