Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Full-Time | 30–35 Hours per Week | Belleair Country Club
Belleair Country Club is seeking a professional, experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Day Spa team. This is an excellent opportunity for an LMT who enjoys building relationships with an established private-club membership while working in a beautiful, professional spa environment.
Compensation
BCC offers a flexible hourly-plus-commission compensation structure, based on experience, availability, and responsibilities. Massage Therapists receive 100% of gratuities earned. Compensation and commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.
Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging 30–35 hours per week, with a rotating schedule generally consisting of alternating weeks:
- Monday through Friday
- Monday through Thursday and Saturday
Days and hours may vary based on member appointments and scheduling needs. Morning and daytime availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional relaxation and therapeutic massage services to members and guests.
- Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and other appropriate techniques.
- Maintain appropriate treatment notes and documentation.
- Educate members regarding massage therapy within the therapist's scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and relaxing treatment environment.
- Clean and prepare the massage room between appointments, including changing linens, laundry, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Follow all Club, spa, health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the Day Spa Manager regarding day-to-day spa standards, including room setup, supplies, Vagaro procedures, member and guest experience, treatment protocols, and coordination with other spa providers.
- Participate in appropriate spa promotions and activities designed to encourage member engagement.
The position is under the administrative oversight of the CFO.
Qualifications
- Current and active State of Florida Massage Therapy License required.
- Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience preferred.
- Experience in relaxation massage and multiple massage modalities preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable working with a private-club membership.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to perform multiple massage services throughout the day.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to Belleair Country Club.
