Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting with their Power Sports and Marine needs. Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and automotive service will help guide customers in selecting the right products and services for their vehicles. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries regarding parts and accessories.
- Utilize strong phone presence to handle incoming calls, ensuring all customer questions are answered promptly and accurately.
- Maintain an organized counter area, ensuring that all items for sale are displayed effectively and inventory is well-stocked.
- Assist customers in identifying vehicle maintenance needs through effective communication.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and services to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
- Support dealership operations by coordinating with other departments as needed to fulfill customer requests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse clientele; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and automotive diagnostics is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring customer needs are met promptly and satisfactorily.
