We operate a modern 75,000SF air-conditioned facility equipped with 5 axis machining centers such as Matsuura, Yasda, DMG and Hermle.
Job description
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will collaborate closely with Operation, Programming, and Production teams to develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes for complex customer parts and assemblies. This role is ideal for an innovative, experienced manufacturing professional with a quality-first mindset and deep expertise in precision machining. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, support new product development (NPD), and leverage advanced engineering tools to optimize manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional Operations and Programming teams to design and refine advanced manufacturing processes.
- Participate in New Product Development (NPD) meetings, providing technical expertise to determine efficient production.
- Develop and maintain detailed job routers, ensuring accurate process documentation and continuous improvement.
- Utilize Siemens NX CAD to design work holding fixtures, tooling, and assembly solutions that enhance productivity, precision, and repeatability.
- Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience minimum in Precision Machining
- Strong skillset in CAD and related design processes – 2 years’ experience preferred
- Understanding of advanced work holding and fixture design
- Knowledge of cutting tools and methods
- Knowledge of raw materials including Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum
- Ability to read complex prints and demonstrate a high level of GD&T knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
- Ability to collaborate with a team and respond to feedback professionally
