Los Angeles County Psychiatrist on-site opportunity
Bridge Telehealth is looking for an IN PERSON part-time or full-time psychiatrist to work in the field- based position for "Prevent Homelessness Program" in Los Angeles, CA.
Qualifications: Board eligible Psychiatrist with a California Medical License
Compensation: $ 210-220/hour
1099 income, malpractice insurance provided.
Job Description:
- Complete field-based appointments in permanent supportive housing settings with a rounding partner/team.
- Performing psychiatric evaluations that includes a psychiatric diagnosis, assessment of the client's level of functioning, and screening for physical health related concerns and substance use.
- Evaluating for client's needs for medication to manage psychiatric illness and substance use Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Working closely with other members of the treatment team to dispense and administer medications as necessary and monitoring client's response to medications.
- Engaging in interdisciplinary meetings and huddles.
- Escalating client's level of care and evaluating for need for change in treatment setting

Pay: $210.00 - $220.00 per hour
