```Duties```
- Assist in building part time day program to provide meaningful activities to improve quality of life for traumatic brain injuries clients and spinal cord patients
-Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Provide therapeutic interventions and techniques to promote independence and enhance quality of life
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their condition and maximizing functional abilities
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and their families
- Ability to assess patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and tools

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and its relation to occupational therapy
- Proficiency in case management and coordinating care for patients with complex needs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and their integration into occupational therapy interventions
- Ability to work in home care and AFC settings and adapt treatment plans based on changing patient needs

Salary: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare team members
- Ability to effectively manage cases and prioritize workload
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
