A2Z Restoration is currently looking for a qualified/trainable Water/Mold/Smoke Mitigation Technician. This position will perform water mitigation, content manipulation, fire and smoke cleaning of structure and contents, remediation of mold and microbial contamination within residential and commercial structures. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a reliable team player and demonstrates a "can-do" attitude. Willing to train the right person.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Construction of containment systems and critical barriers
- Monitoring of environmental controls and negative pressure
- Operation of air scrubbers and negative air machines
- Monitoring moisture and humidity
- Precision demolition - drywall and flooring removal
- Removal of contaminated building materials, as well as building containments
- Post-remediation detailed cleaning and fire odor restoration
- Water damage emergency response and monitoring
- Mold remediation
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Apply antimicrobial products
- Proper use of PPE equipment including respirator, gloves, and goggles.
- Transfer data to required office documents, and take all required pictures through job process

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year of mitigation experience is required, applications will not be considered otherwise!!
- Customer Service Oriented
- Must have a valid California Driver's license
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check (No violent or theft related charges)
- Must be able to pass a drug test
Qualifications that are a PLUS:
- Current IICRC certifications for WRT, AMRT, CDS, ASD
- Knowledge of how to work with Dry Logs, MICA and Xactimate
