LGG Industrial is seeking a safety-focused, mechanically inclined Industrial Hose Tester & Prep Technician to join our onsite hose facility.
In this hands-on production position, you will inspect, prepare, test, and manage industrial hoses used throughout the refinery. You will ensure each hose meets customer requirements, LGG Industrial work instructions, and applicable quality standards before it is placed into service.

What You’ll Do
- Inspect industrial hoses for wear, damage, leaks, and other potential defects
- Prepare and organize hoses for testing and customer use
- Perform hose testing according to customer requirements, quality standards, and company work instructions
- Manage and test hoses
- Accurately complete testing records, inspection documents, and quality paperwork
- Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, and forklifts
- Measure and identify hoses and related components
- Maintain an organized and safe hose-testing and production area
- Assist with physical inventory and material organization as needed
- Identify potential product or process improvements and communicate recommendations to management
- Work closely with LGG Industrial team members and customer representatives
- Follow all refinery, customer, and company safety procedures
- Perform additional production and hose-service duties after receiving appropriate training
What We’re Looking For
- One to two years of industrial hose testing, hose assembly, hose inspection, or related industrial experience
- Working knowledge of industrial hoses and hose-related components
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to inspect hoses and identify wear, damage, leaks, or irregularities
- Understanding of quality-control processes and documentation
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and units of measurement
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet applications
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation
Schedule Requirements
- Regular schedule of four 10-hour shifts
- Ability to work overtime, nights, or weekends when operationally required
