Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentials
- State licensure for Illinois
- Experience with pediatric populations in school-based settings
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to RTI/MTSS processes as needed
- Provide support and training to classroom teachers and parents regarding speech/language strategies and interventions
