4-C has a great opportunity for a full time Certification Specialist. The Certification Specialist regulates in-home child care businesses. Our ideal candidate understands child care and speaks both English and Spanish.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Early Childhood professionals and enforce regulations by visiting their in-home child care businesses.
- Ensure equitable services by using Spanish/English skills in multiple programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must speak Spanish and English. Experience in the child care field in both languages is preferred.
- 4 years of experience in Social Work, Child and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related field OR Associate Degree and 2 years of experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand complex regulations
- Ability to work occasional evenings
- Must provide own transportation in 9-county service area; reimbursement provided
JOB DETAILS
- $25-26 per hour depending on experience and skills

- This position requires regular site visits in southern Wisconsin; administrative work can be done from home.
- Occasional evening work is required.
