Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preventive maintenance
- Painting
- Plumbing
- Interior and exterior carpentry repairs
- Electrical (replace receptacles, switches, lights for upgrades/remodels)
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Satisfy resident service requests promptly and efficiently
- Maintenance "on-call" rotation for after-hours emergency service
- Lift fifty pounds occasionally
- Perform any and all assigned duties related to the position
Necessary skills to excel in position:
- Fast learner and self-motivated
- Honest, courteous and cooperative
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Exercises control over maintenance expenditures including keeping an inventory of frequently used parts and replacement items
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Willing to perform any and all assigned duties related to the position
Required Experience:
Two years relevant experience required. Maintenance Technicians perform work that requires physical activity and ability to read and understand written instructions. Applicant must be able to work in moderately difficult environments, provide basic tools to complete jobs, and to regularly lift items weighing up to and occasionally above 50 lbs.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
