Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that products meet strict quality standards. Duties
- Set up CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment according to technical drawings and specifications
- Programing CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance is a plus
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges to verify part dimensions
- Perform quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of machine setups, production runs, and inspection results for traceability and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical specifications including GD&T standards
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other quality control tools
- Experience with factory safety procedures, warehouse operations, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and machine adjustments
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication techniques, and packaging methods
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement in machining efficiency and quality
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a factory environment.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
