Provide outstanding service to members, guests & customers in a timely, friendly manner. Follow the service sequence and standards of the Club, according to the Service Manual and instructions by management.
Job Responsibilities
- Be at work on time appropriately dressed in uniform and ready find supervisor for assignment and direction.
- Must be able to understand banquet event orders and execute given assignments completely.
- Servers must be able to independently work using common sense and good judgment of situations.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds safely using proper lifting techniques and deliver food safely to their given sections.
- Must follow the clubs steps of service guidelines at all times.
- Servers are responsible for setting, serving, clearing tables and completing the assigned side work in a timely fashion at all times.
- Make sure all guests in their section are effectively served and followed up with on their needs.
- Be able to work well and communicate effectively with fellow employees.
- Ensure proper set-up, maintenance, and sanitation of the banquet service station expo line, tables and common areas throughout the banquet rooms & clubhouse.
- Utilize down time to achieve the most productivity by asking the manager for tasks. Such as folding napkins, fill salt & peppers, clean banquet storeroom etc…
- Knowledge of, respect for and adherence to all staff privileges and responsibilities.
- Be aware of all functions happening at the club on a daily and weekly basis that pertain to restaurant & banquets.
- Be aware of and adhere to all state laws pertaining to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a Department Manager and/or a Department Supervisor.
