Noble Gift Packaging is a leading supplier of jewelry packaging, displays, and retail packaging solutions. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Specialist to oversee purchasing, inventory management, quality control, and product development while working closely with our overseas manufacturing partners.
Purchasing & Inventory Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
- Work directly with overseas vendors and manufacturers.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs.
- Place and track purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Oversee product quality and quality control processes.
- Source new products and assist with product development.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier terms.
- Work closely with the warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.
- Analyze purchasing and inventory data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records.
- Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and overall supply chain performance.
Purchasing & Inventory Specialist Qualifications
- Experience working with overseas vendors is required.
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus.
