Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated certified class IV or higher Water Operations Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily functions of multiple water treatment facilities. In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of water systems, and associated equipment. Your leadership will help maintain environmental compliance, optimize system performance, and support the delivery of clean, safe water to communities. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of water treatment facilities ensuring all processes meet regulatory standards and operational goals.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for industrial pumps, heavy equipment, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Oversee data collection efforts related to water quality, system performance metrics, and environmental compliance documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment repair issues, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and other automation technologies.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all team members to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct analysis of operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Support environmental compliance initiatives by adhering to local, state, and federal regulations related to water treatment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in water treatment with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with industrial pump maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use.
- Strong understanding of plumbing, basic math skills for calculations related to flow rates or chemical dosing, and analysis skills for interpreting operational data
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during maintenance activities and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on analysis and troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
