Position Summary
As a Barista at Beach Weekend Coffee, you'll be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences by preparing high-quality coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café, and representing our brand with enthusiasm and professionalism. Every interaction with our guests should leave them feeling welcomed and excited to return.
What You'll Do
- Prepare espresso beverages, coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to Beach Weekend Coffee standards.
- Greet every customer with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Keep the café clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed.
- Restock coffee beans, syrups, cups, pastries, and retail merchandise.
- Learn our coffee offerings and confidently answer customer questions.
- Work efficiently during busy morning rushes and seasonal peaks.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Reliable transportation.
