The Granite YMCA of the Seacoast is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Welcome Center Associate to create a positive first impression and meaningful connections with our members and guests. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building community.
As a Welcome Center Associate, you will be the first point of contact for members and visitors, delivering exceptional service while promoting YMCA programs, values, and mission. You’ll help ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong.
In this role, you will:
- Greet members and guests warmly, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service
- Act as a positive ambassador for the Granite YMCA and connect members with programs and services
- Serve as the first point of contact for member concerns and problem-solving
- Process memberships, program registrations, and financial transactions
- Sell memberships and programs and provide cause-driven facility tours
- Communicate facility usage, programs, and events accurately
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling financial transactions preferred
- Proficiency with computers and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook or similar)
- Experience with SGA or similar membership software preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- Hourly part-time position (12-16 hours per week)
- Saturdays 8am to 4pm; Sundays 10am to 4pm & availability to pick up open shifts during the week
