A Welder / Fabricator
- heats, forms, presses metal parts using hand tools and torch's. (They may use plasma welding equipment.)
- is required to have knowledge of blueprints to determine required welding method and equipment;
- must be able to recognize welding symbols;
- must be able to verify conformance of finished product to the print; and
- must be able to lay out, position, and secure parts, components or structures according to the specifications.
Welders must be able to use spot or rack welding techniques. Must be comfortable with TIG & MIG welding and have the ability to weld in a flat, horizontal, vertical, down or overhead position.
Welders will operate robotic welder. (prior work experience requested)
It is critical that the welder is able to read and understand a variety of tools for measuring including a tape measure, calipers and micrometers.

- Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
